Pregnant Tulip ? Thanks to Patti Mollica's inspiration !

Pregnant Tulip is another of those "In Class, Not for Sale" paintings that happen nearly every week.  It is presented with a HUGE Thank You to Patti Mollica, who used this design in a quick demo of creating several value studies of a single subject, then painting loosely from one.  I will try to continue the looseness in my next paintings--it is great to actually manage to avoid the tight precision that seems to haunt my efforts.

I love the colours!  All that varied blue is a certain winner with me, and then the pinks simply glow.  Delightful !
