"Happy Days" Knife-painted acrylic

Happy Days is yet another of those "painted in class" specialties of mine.  One just never knows what these may be, or especially how they will turn out !  It took the final step, the addition of the touches of yellow, to bring this one out of the so-so pile into something with some joy and life in it.  I continue to be pleased and impressed with the open and uninhibited feeling that knife painting makes possible, even for me and my instinctive need to control everything.  That bright blue background is a special pleasure, too !
