No,Don't, Mum !

pet portraits". This is the second in my practise series of "pet portraits". I am having lots of fun working my way through the challenges they create; my lost edges are finally doing better, at least in acrylics. Watercolour will take a lot longer.

All of this set are not for sale, as they are cropped versions of calendar photos that I am enjoying working with. Never an exact copy, I use them to generate bases to paint with, learning features placement and major body shapes as I go along. The computer helps by clearing up the values for me to work with, training me to see them for myself (I hope !)

Apart from the pleasure that I get from painting these, I am planning and plotting to make an attempt at marketing them this summer, too. Always in search of enough income to keep me in paint !
